Alae I

Alae used to be an obscure crossword puzzle clue, back when the late Eugene T. Maleska was constructing them for the NY TImes.

It means wings, and I am using it to title the last 2 posts for my Birds of a Feather trunk pics.

The Hippo (“Rest Stop”) and the Woodpecker (“Woodpecker Hollow”) canvases are among the latest designs from Birds of a Feather.  The ones you see here were just painted, and arrived at Needlepoint Land yesterday.
