Erin’s NY Trip – Part II

As promised, here are loads of pics of the ornamental conifers section of the New York Botanical Garden.  This area is named after James Benenson, Jr., a 77-year old, NY-based financier, philanthropist, and long-time board member of the NYBG.  You can read about the restoration of the ornamental conifers here, or just look at the beautiful stills below.

  1. Hi Pauline–I highly recommend a visit there. The conifers are gorgeous, unfortunately the Lilac garden was being renovated, but they did have a few blooming. It’s a quick Metro North ride from where you are and the local trains make a stop there, every hour, I think.
